Seed technology is an interesting research area where we can help to improve plants’ establishment and growth
Right now, we are assessing new seed treatments that activate the germination mechanism in Kentucky bluegrass, and the first field trial results are very positive.
Primed seed have demonstrated 25% better germination than standard seed. Just 12 days after sowing, the difference was clear, and after one month, the plots of primed seed remained ahead.
Following these promising screenings, we are continuing this research.
